a Perspective
All those things are true, but I had to pick one.
After more than five years working in B2B tech, I could tell you about a lot of things I’ve learned. But what I’d really want to tell you is that I gather context, do my research, and mess around a bit—all to develop my perspective. Then I apply it to my work.
I’m creative by nature.
And analytical. And structured. But also a rule-breaker, when it’s called for. I look at systems, break them down into their smaller pieces, then play around with form and style until I’ve made something new, exciting and helpful.
Long story short,
I’m a self-taught designer. My education was in psychology and business and I started my career in product marketing before transitioning to design. That, plus lifelong artistic hobbies has led to a wide breadth of skills and knowledge in many areas. But mostly, I learn by doing and getting my hands dirty.
I’m passionate about a few things when it comes to my job:
This is my most recent work.
It’s a quick look at the work I’m most proud of from my time at CrowdRiff. I’ve been focused on improving core workflows for our asset management library, like our search experience and making assets easy to use.
What you don’t see here is the data, wireframes, research and collaboration that got these projects to this point. Those are some of my favourite parts of my work, but I haven’t found a great way to show it off in a portfolio.
Looks like we’ll have to chat for you to learn more!
